SPEAKING to PRO SNOWBOARDERS for NOKIA, AUSTRIA, December 2011
We just got back from the Burton Headquarters in Innsbruck, Austria. We had a really important session with pro rider Gary Greenshields for the PUSH Snowboarding project. We were able to really spend some time absorbing the world of snowboard accessories, the lifestyle of pro riders, and spent half a day shoving things into peoples boots to see what we could get away with!
This part of any project is extremely important, and we always make sure our clients give us the space to actually go out and talk to the people who will be using the new invention. Luckily this entire collaboration was heavily experimental, so we were really able to let the users take the lead and inform the concept at a really low level.
