FIRST VITAMINS PROJECT on GOOGLE EARTH
We’re incredibly proud to see that the Villiers High School playground we designed in 2008 is now visible on google earth! You can see it by clicking here. It’s the first thing we’ve designed that’s been snapped by a satellite.
The playground was the result of a collaboration with students from Villiers do completely redesign their outdoor space. The project was featured as a case study written by the Design Council on how user centered design can be used for behaviour change. They wrote an excellent article on it, which you can find here.
It’s especially interesting to see how the idea went from a paper model that you see on your right to real concrete installations.
